our attention for the first time by The Freestyle Master and
Steg G on the underground street tape Mind Games where Kim Wilson
met her date with fate. Then again on the Journey to Above &
Beyond. The critically acclaimed singer in the pack Most recently
known for her collaboration on the Clydebuilt album track. The
long awaited solo material was well received with Stolen Smile

& Hate we get to hear the unique sound of a mix of Steg
G's beats, the infusion of Kim Wilson's powerful vocal tones
and guest appearances from The Freestyle Master and Damaged
Goodz.
As the chic of the powercut crew you will have seen her during

by playing all old and new RnB.
When
not on stage with the boys she is getting down to a bit of
Jazz funk with the Mosa Funk Club. Most recently played at
the Arches, Soundhaus and the art school.
If it's dance that's your thing then
you must have been at Coloursfest. The Powercut crew played
in the urban tent in 03 and in 04 Kim was up there on the
main stage with the EP project in. Watch out for Mirror Baw
which is a collaboration of some funky dj's and Kim's soulful
vocals creating a whole new sound of house music...To be showcased

in Motherwell & Livingston Forum.
When promoting solo material she had
the pleasure in playing at the world famous Kings head Putney
Bridge & Roadhouse Covent Garden. Support act for Ott
(who were famous at the time!) touring all over England and
Northern Ireland. We can't forget where she started working
in most of the pubs and clubs in Scotland.. Gleneagles being
the best hotel and the Cube joints & jams the best nightclub.
Putting something back into the community
Kim collaborated with the Freestyle Master to carry out a
Hip Hop workshop. After a couple of sessions the kids were
able to put on a show on using their own raps and lyrics over
Steg G's recognizable beats.
Her
TV debut on Men & Motors may have been brief but momentous
as it was sandwiched nicely in between JordanÆs tasty
bits. If you recognize the face but didn't know the name it
could be from her days of modeling for Pioneer and various
Scottish fashion shows.
